Sarnia is the birthplace of the North American petrochemical industry. It is here where oil was first discovered and mined in North America, and where associated industries developed. Sarnia is the hub of the petro-chemical and chemical manufacturing industry of Canada. We are located about 3 hours drive from Toronto, 1 hour from London (Ontario), 1 hour from Detroit, 5 minutes from Port Huron (Michigan), 7 hours from New York city and 4 hours from Chicago.

The city is ideally situated for trade along the Great Lakes. Port Sarnia is situated at the southern point of the massive Lake Huron from where ships can reach all the way North past Chicago up to Lake Superior, and South past Niagara Falls and Toronto to the Atlantic Ocean.

Sarnia has some of the best sandy beaches in the world as it is situated along the clear blue fresh water of Lake Huron. Lambton College in Sarnia is world class. This small college (14,000 students) has very good ties with several universities in India and China, and maintains campuses in those countries. Every year, several thousand foreign students come to Sarnia to further their education.

Several of our associates (including our Managing Directors) are new Canadians who immigrated to Canada during the past decade.
